I don’t want this blog to end up being a Microsoft marketing site, but there will be frequent technology stories or issues that pass across my desk that it will be worth sharing. This is one of them.
Several people have talked about the photosynth technology with me over the last few months, for those of you who have not yet had a chance to play with it then you might like this example. Early in August CNet news carried the story of a collaboration between NASA and Microsoft to publish a series of photo collections using the photosynth technology.
This morning I see the collection showing a complete roll of the space shuttle is available for viewing. If you want to have a play with the technology then you can find the plugin and the photo collections through a link at Microsoft Live Labs.
