Good question, Jesper. I jumped the gun a bit myself there.

I was told in March that the dev team was confident that Version 1 could be IS29500-compatible, but after we thought through were things stand we decided to hold off a bit on that. There’s not much point in creating an incompatibility between the SDK and the current shipping version of Office, and it’s a much bigger job to modify Office’s implementation than to do this in the SDK. We’re going to keep them in synch going forward.

By the way, the SDK links will all be updated later today.

Hi Oliver,

That link still refers to the April CTP, unfortunately.

I’ve been on the lookout for the 1.0 official release, so we can wrap up all our new Open XML related improvements after switching to the SDK.
